Our Mission

28 Stitches unofficially began in 2019 when I was looking for unique ways to fundraise for a missions trip to Tanzania. Making scrunchies with my grandma (The Queen) paid for a very large portion of the trip. Unfortunately due to COVID the trip was canceled, but nearly 6 months after completing the fundraiser I was still having girls come up to me in college asking me about scrunchies. So, 28 Stitches was born.

We started with scrunchies but quickly added headbands in the mix in the summer of 2020.

Overtime we have added a number of other items to the shop including seasonal decor, clothing, jewelry and other accessories, stationary, and devotional books.

You might be wondering... what's with the name? Where did it come from? From the beginning this hobby turned business of mine was all about missions- getting to go and serve and then later financially support others who were working to spread the Gospel. 28 Stitches is built on The Great Commission, specifically from Matthew 28:19-20. 🌍

We have supported over 50 ministries across the globe! We are so blessed with your support. We have coined the phrase "The Boutique that Gives Back" and as long as we are open and operating we will be giving back! 15% of all of our sales proceeds from month to month is donated to our mission.

I thank you so much for supporting this little dream of mine. 💖
